JANETVILLE.
(Correspondence of THE POST)
HYMENIAL.-On Wednesday, Sept. 20th,
a very pleasing event took place at the
residence of Mr. Henry Anderson, when
his youngest daughter, Lizzie, was married
to Mr. J. E. Billingsley, freight agent at
Lindsay. The ceremony was performed
by the Rev. Mr. Fusee, assisted by the Rev.
Mr. Oswald, at four o'clock p.m. The bride
was assisted by Miss Amy Carveth of Mill-
brook, cousin of the groom, and the groom
by Mr. Harry Anderson of this place. The
bride was the recipient of many useful and
valuable presents. The happy couple left
Lindsay on the evening train for an ex-
tended trip through the United States,
calling at Chicago, where they will have
an opportunity of visiting the world's fair.
Miss Anderson was highly esteemed in our
village and will be very much missed in
the church and Sunday school, also in the
choir, where she was one of the leading
soprano singers. We wish them all
happiness in their wedded life.
