Full Text

-Among the young people of the town great

interest was manifested in the wedding on

Wednesday afternoon, the contracting parties

being Mr. W. Veitch and Miss Kate Stevenson.

Rev. S. Weston-Jones performed the ceremony.

Many friends of the bride and groom testified

in a practical way their appreciation of the

selection by presenting a large number of gifts,

including from members of the band and base-

ball club a valuable silver tea set. The choir of

St. Paul's, of which Mrs. Veitch has been for a

long time a member, intimated that a handsome

gift will be presented as soon as procured.

The happy couple left on the evening train

for a trip across the border to visit friends.
