- Description
- Photograph of the construction of the Hall home on Eldon Road in Little Britain, Ontario in 1909. A digital copy of this photo was provided by Marylou Hall as part of a presentation on her family.
- Notes
- In George C.R. Hall’s words, “Standing out in my memory is one particular, silly item. One of the workers every so often would take a sip of what may have been tea, but it was labelled Whiskey and swallow a wee nip every so often. It is remarkable how a trivial thing such as this is readily remembered long after all knowledge of algebra and geometry is completely forgotten.”
