- “After a few days the bricklayers found out the brick would not split, it was too hard with an ordinary trowel and had to be sort of chiseled in two. The contractors told my dad that they could not do the job without him losing a fortune. They were given the go ahead and never had I seen better brick work.“ G.C.R. Hall’s words.
