- Dr. George Wesley Hall belonged to many organizations that bettered his community. He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge, which raised money for social causes. Dr. George Wesley Hall contributed to the recreation facilities of his community by purchasing shares in the Oakwood Co-Op Rink Company in 1923.
