- Continuing with Dr. George C.R. Hall’s words “At this time there was a blacksmith’s shop beside the bridge owned by Mr. Yeo. Every Spring his floor was flooded while the thaw was on. Fortunately everything of value was too heavy to float and was conveniently in place when the rush of water was over.”
