- During the summer months George C.R. Hall worked at his uncle’s 200-acre farm, located four miles away. He rode his bicycle back and forth daily, starting at seven A.M. and finishing by six P.M. or later.
“All the grain on a 200-acre farm was pitched by me onto the wagons and stored in the barn until it was threshed in the autumn.“ George C.R. Hall's words.
