- In 1926, Dr. George C.R. Hall further served his community by being appointed Little Britain School Trustee. His greatest challenge came in 1928 when many residents were opposed to the re-building of the school, since their taxes would be raised. Dr. George C.R. Hall stressed the importance of education and in the end everybody believed the school served its purpose. (Note: there is a movie clip of the school opening in this collection.)
