There was a good attend- ance, and addresses were delivered by Revs. McCall, Fraser and McKinnon, the chairman concluding with a few appropriate remarks. On Wednesday a meeting was held 'at Cameron; on Monday there will be meetings in the Methodist church at Powlcs’s and in the Presbyterian church at Bury's Green; and the other three meetings will be as follows: On Tuesday, the 12th, in Chambers’ school-house; on Wednesday, the 13th, in Fell's school~ house; and on Wednesday, the 18th, in Lamb's schoolhouse. Born in Allrctown, Feb- ruary 28th; 1803, he was initiated into the Prince Ed win Lodge at Christmas, 182-1, and transferred to the Spring of Love Lodge, Derby, in 1842. He was a bookseller by trade, and in spite of the burden of 90 years enjoys fairly good health.
