L: Thompson, of Toronto. Mr. M. Terrill, of Trenton, and his son, the Rev. A. J. Terrill, of Greenbank, were in town over Sunday, the latter preaching in the Methodist church here on that day. Devitt, and have set up their portable saw mill, and are preâ€" pared to do all the custom sawing that comes along. We wish them success in their undertaking. At the last meeting of L. O. L. No. 1410 the following brethren were duly elected as officers for the ensuing year : \V. M., Foster Herron; D. M., Thomas Kelly; Chap., C. Heaslip; Rec. See., E. Tiers ; Fin. See, J. Mulligan ; Treasurer, Wm. Gamble ; Lecturer, Thos. Patterson. The brethren have decided on holding a basket social on J an. 17th at their lodge 'room, for which .there will be a good programme prepared. The teacher of last year, Mr. II. Wal- lace, has been reâ€"engaged for another year.
