The visitors were afterwards enter- tained at a moonfeast, and report having patrol yacht, tho Naiad, passed through the locks on Tuesday on her way to the upper lakes. The yacht is in charge of a Game and Fishery Warden, part of whose duties is to see that local wardens are not neglecting their work. The course of the Naiad, which will be in the control pf Capt. R. W. Carson, will extend through seven counties. Lake Scugog will be visited during the duck season. The trees are nearly all alive and thrifty. They are now quite a noticeable size, and cast a shade that is very agreeable on hot days.
