Switzer’s near Cameron, got his foot caught in a rope while the machine was being taken out of the barn and had his right leg broken in two places just above '5 the ankle. The breaks were verybad ones and did not heal up properly-{and it was considered necess- ary to'amputate the limb. Mr. Coppin‘s was taken to his home on Tuesday last. On? Wednesday Dr. Johnston and Dr. Graham amputated the leg about three inches above the knee, and the patient is progressing favorably.
