For the first time in the history of tho- Slater shoe in Canada the privilege of n. fortnight's revel in shoe bargains has- becn accorded by the makers of the shoe with the “ Sign of the Slate.” In View of the radical changes in styles and shapes introduced by the Slater Shoe Company over 500 Slater Shoe dealers in Canada agreed that two weeks of cut prices should be given in order to dispose of all broken lines and" all styles which will not be “ repeated." There are few back number styles. or what is known in the trade as “ Spills,” but the shoes bearing the Slate Mark are all of good leather, and mostly new. But they are models which may not be in vogue next year, and certainly will not be in accord with the new Slater styles for Spring and Summer. - April the first is the Slater Spring Opening Day all over Canada, and in preparation for the eventwe give this once-in-a-lifetime event. Every shoe marked down for this quick disposal will be plainly marked, so. that buyers may know at once just what shoes have received their marching out orders. Terrill Bros, Fenelon Falls agents.
