A gentleman from the north country informs us that complaint was made of his conduct while out there a few weeks ago. One day last week Georgie, the ï¬ve year old Son of Mr. J. H. A man by the name of Covey Burke had just received a sentence of 30 days in the common goal, when he made a sudden break for liberty. By a quick unexpect- ed move he floored Constable Reeves, but Charlie clung to his man, and soon had the bracelets on him. For this attempt to escape Burke was rewarded by an addition to his sentence of 30 days, making two months in all.
