Hayes heard in the matter of amistalien calculation in his offer for the Township debentures on the filth of .‘lay and laid before the Council an amended tender uttering $1.700 premium. The Council tilled out and ordered to be issued the instructions to tho l‘atlnnasters for the current year. Moved by Mr. Fraser. seconded by Mr. Brown that the report of the Township Road Commissioner in the matter of the approach to the bridge over the Talbot River on lot 6 in the 11th concession be referred to the County (formed and that the Reeve and Doputy-Rcovc be instruct~ ed to press the matter upon the attention of the said County Council at its next meeting. Moved by Mr. Galloway. sec~ ended by Mr. Fraser that Mr. William Dickson be ofl'ered the sum of 860 for land on the centre of West half of lot 5. in the 10th con. suflicient to form a road at that point the said road to be bounded on the east by the centre line of the survey for a new road at that place.â€" Carried. Moved by Mr. Galloway, sec- onded by Mr. Fraser that two steel scrapers be obtained from Mr. William Smith of Beaver-ton and delivered to Mr. Christopher J. West‘s cutting and levelling hill on Simcoe street gravelling westward from John street; on Franklin street turn- piking as may he found necessaryâ€" Carried.
