The Odd-fellows’ excursion to Barrie on Wednesday was well attended and all who participated enjoyed themselves immensely. A fine day and comfortable breeze made the sail across the lake ex- tremely pleasant and on arrival at Barrie at about noon the town was found in holiday dress and a large crowd present. The procession, games, and town were done and the return made by 9 o'clock, p. m. The only objectionable feature to the entire alfalr was the very disagree- able manner of cmharkation and landing. The sooner the village fathers take this matter "into their serious consideration" the better both for the convenience of the pa blic and the interests of the town.
