As- SEMBLED : Your clerk and returning officer ap- pointed to hold a poll on By-law, No. 9, of 1888, entitled a By-law to provide for the issued debentures to the amount of 32,000 to raise the necessary funds for granting aid by way of bonusfor rebuild- ing and re-establishing the Beaverton Foundry, which said poll was held in the Town Hall in Beaverton. on Monday, the 10th day of September, A. D, 1883, between the hours of 9 o‘clock. a. m. and 5 o‘clock. p. m. of that date, hereby re- ports and states as follows : That the said 1))" showed one hundred and thirty votes marked for the By-law ; That the said poll also showed nine votes marked against the By-law, and therefore that a majority of the municipal electors of the Village of Beaverton have approved of the By‘law.
