Mount Horeb, April 12.â€"â€"The re- sidents of this part of the country welcome b'ack with open arms Mr. John Deyell and family, who have taken up ,their residence on the old homestead. It was some twenty-five years ago that Mr. John Deyell left this section of the country and left the homestead to take up his occu- pation of farming in the north east part of Ops township. At that time the residents of Mount Horeb regret- ted to see him depart, as he was re- cognized as one .of ”the boys." and was popular with all_ with whom he Home in contact with. *Twenty 'five iears ago he took an active part in church work, and since he moved to Ops he has continued to be active in the promotion 0; the Master’s work, devoting considerable of 'his time to the church and the Sunday school. He also was well acquainted with the municipal ail‘airs oi the township and his fellow-residents and friends recognized his ability and elected him a member of the township coun- cil, which position he still holds. A week or so before his departure his friends in Ops congregated and gave Mr. 'and Mrs. Deyell and family a right royal send-oil. stating that they were indeed sorry to see the family leaving the neighborhood. The people 01 Mt. Horeb. however. are pleased to welconie him sack again. The Deyell [0.211in is widely known. and the mcmbers are among the most respected oi the cellular:- ity.
