' Mrs. Dave Graham has her father, Mr. Tye: of-Toronto, staying at her .home for an indefinite period. Miss Lucy White, of Cambray, in company with her brother, were vi- sitors at the home of Mr. John Cow- ieson on Sunday last. Miss Hart, who recently traveled from the States, paid a prolonged visit to the home of Mrs. Thos. Hill. Miss Hart has left on a journey to England. The Rev. C. Steele was not super- intending the classes at the district Sunday school last w,eek his pres- ence being 'required at the Palestine Sunday school, consequently Mr. Dan. Sinclair of North Islay, took up the reins of office for that day with great success. The annual meeting of the Islay branch of the Women’s Institute, which Was held at the home of Mrs. D. R.
