This seems to be very true, as on Friday afternoon, Sept. 22nd, Maggie May, beloved wife of Norman J. Moose, and oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Gillson, Pleasant Point, passâ€" ed to rest after a short illness at- tended by weakness and intense suf- fering. Deceased returned to her parents' home about two weeks be- fore her death and on Wednesday, Sept. 13th an infant son was born. Careful nursing and every care Was given her. In spite of all her suf- fering she kept up cheerful counten- ance and made a brave and heroic struggle for life. Bright, winsome. and appreciatiVe of all that life af- fords to the young her early death was marked by a lovely resignation ' to the will of her Heavenly Father. and she fell asleep sweetly and calm- ly on Friday afternoon to awaken in - that land where sorrow is unknown, and where the inhabitants never say they are sick. From early child- hood she had been a consistent mem- ber of the Methodist church and for several years previous to her mar- riage was organist in the Pleasant Point church. The funeral from her father's resi- dence on Sunday was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing rela- tives and friends and was conducted by Rev. J. U. Robins, of Blackstock, who performed the marriage cere- mony just two years and nine months previous. He spoke irom the following words: rev. lst chap- ter. verses 17 and 18, " And He laid His right hand upon me.
