Mr. Dundee was a native of Drum, County Monanhan, Ireland. and came to Canada in 1847. On December 26m, 1334, he married Miss Jones, of Rochester. by whom he had ten children, four daughters of whom, and his widow, survive him. He representethe south riding of Vic- toria in the parliament commencing 1882 to 1887, but declined re-nomiuatiou at the next general election. as his business re- quired his whole attention. Mr. Dundee was a very active business man, and in addition to his many ventures was president of the Toronto Savings and Loan Compmy and vice-president of the Central Canada Loan Company, and a trustee of the Cam- bridge-st.
