She had a. large circle of friends and was be- loved and esteemed by all who knew her; indeed. there were but few in the township who did not know her. and to know her was to love her; the kind word and helping hand were by her always spoken and extended to the needy cheerfully and with full meas- ure, without ostentatzon. not with in- tent to draw words of praise from the worldly â€"they were amply done. be- cause she knew her actions were pleas- ing to God. On the evening of the am the deceased baked the biscuit for the even‘ng meal; when baked she buttered one and handed it to her kind husband. who-was sitting near by. and about at minute later she remarked that she had a pain in her h°rd :m‘l neck.
