Death has again vtstted Mill- brock and taken another oi her oldest and most highly esteemed citizens, in the person of Mr. T. Gillott, J. P., at the age of 74 years. Deceased had been ailing for the past few months, but was able to take a drive a few days be- fore his death, which took place on Friday last, at his late home. It is only about three years ago snme he retired from the under. taking business, which he turned over to his son, Mr. \Vm. Gillott. Deceased had built a fine new home for himself and his beloved 1 wife, and expected to spend many more happy years together, and in which home they celebrated the last fall, but death came and part- ed these loving hearts until the last great trumpet shall sound. He was a Justice of the Pe ice for tnany years, and took an active part in municipal affairs, having sat a number oi years in the town Council, aid always worked for the best interests of the commun- ity in which he lived.
