A case which was left over from the last court, that of Gibson vs. War- rian, was brought up before His Wor- ship this morning. Mr. F. Holmes Hopkins appeared for Warrian, the defendant, and Mr. I. E. Weldon for Gibson, plaintiï¬ His Worship, after hearing the two latter cases, dismissed them also. In the ï¬rst case Parish sued Hams-i worth for $43.50 for work, and after hearing the evidence His Worship dismissed the case. Harnsworth then turned round and sued Parish for damages amounting to $50, and also $20 damages for allow- ing some pigs to go astray while tak- ing them to pound. At Hahburton. Tuesday, before Judge McMillan, four cases were brought up. In the ï¬rst three cases Mr. Harnsworth and Mr. Parish were the principals. Mr. Fred. Holmes Hopkins, B.A., of town, appeared for Harnsworth, and Mr: I. E. Weldon acted as counsel for the other. It appears that Gibson bought a cow from Warrian, which did not turn out to be as good he had guaranteed.
