SYLVESTER COMPANY TO BILL TOWN FOR DAMAGE SUSTAINED BY FLOOD Ottawa, March 27.-â€"-The story ema- nating from Montreal, and printed in a Toronto paper to-day to the efiéct that Mr. R. L. Borden intends to re- sign the leadership of the Conserva-y tive party in the near future, has caused a considerable flurry in Con- servative. circles here toâ€"night. It is significant that in a certain wing of the party the story was accepted as being quite probable. and a develop- ment that would not be hailed as a catastrophe. DISSATISFACTION EXISTED It is. an open secret that there‘is no enthusiasm for Mr. Borden's leadership in Quebec, particularly among the moneyed interests of Montreal, .which haVe neVer taken kindly to his Halifax platform of three years ago. In the west there is also a clamor for a new leader preferably Premier McBride ill with Premier Roblin as a second choice. The anti-reciprocity stand of the Op- position leader had been very dis- tasteful to the western followers and privately they do not hesitate to de- clare that it has practically meant political SiiCide for them. Special lenzen services are being held in Christ church and the meet- ings are well attended. Rev. R. M. Some people have headaches and a feeling :0! languor. others are low spirited and nervous; still others have pim- ples and skia eruptions; while some igct up in the morning feeling just as tired as when they went to bed. These are all spring symptons that the blood is out of order, and‘that a gmedicine is needed. Many people lrush to purgative medicines in the Ispring. This is a mistake. You can- lnot cure these trqubles with amedi- !cine that gallops through your sys- tem and leaves you weaker still. lWhat you need to give you health and strength in the spring is a tonic 'medicine that will enrich the blood land sooth the jangled nerves, and gthe one always reliable tonic and obloodâ€" builder is Dr. Williams Pink Pills. These Pills not only banish i . . 'spring weaknesses and axle but guard you against the more serious ail- ments that follow, such as anaemia nervou$ debility, indigestion, rheu- ‘matism, and other diseases due to bad blood. Dr. Williams’ Pink Pills actually make new, rich, red blood, which strengthens every nerve, every organ and every part of the body, and makes weak, ailing people very bright, happy and strong. Donald Harcourt, N.B., says: “In my opin- ion Dr. Williams' Pink Pills do all that is claimed for them. My sys- te was run down and I was so weak that I could hardly do my work, and taking care of my baby, added to my difficulties. I used a few boxes of Dr. Williams’ . In the corridors tonight the aspect of the situation was being rather freely talked over, while some state- ment from Mr. Borden was being awaited as to the truth of the rumor that he would resign. It is significant that no denial was forthcoming for several hours. When the word was passed around that the rumor eman- ated from political enemies of the Conservative leader in Montreal, who have for years made no secret of their desire to get rid of Mr. Borden and to supplant him by Premier McBride Mr. Borden. is also aware of other ele- ments in the party who are not friend ly to him.
