Spotton, of Peterboro Business College Changes Hands A serious runaway was narrowly averted today at noon. Frank Graham, of Ops, was standing in front of Swat Killen’ s when two ladies drove up in a buggy. They came up too close to the team of horses, with the result that the sth caught under the back band or one of the horses. This caused a mixup which promised to terminate seriously. The team ran up as far as Carroll’s store, the two vehicles be- ing badly mixed up. The ladies still occupied their positions in the bug- gy and were calling for help. The horse finally tripped on the pave- ment and fell down under the wa- gon. A large crowd gathered on the scene and the horse was extricated No damage of any account resulted, except the bending of one of the ax- les of the buggy.
