Though no one saw the mishap and Mr. Wallihghas not since been able to give a very full account of it, it appears that while driving out of the village, the horse took fright at some object on or near the crossing. and while atâ€" tempting to hold him Mr. Walling was thrown out on a small woodex! bridge near there, sustaining severe bruises and internal injuries. as well as a blow on the back of the head, probably from the horse’s foot. Balfour, of Lindsay, both morning and evening on Bunday last. On Mon- day a. feast of good things was pro- vided by the ladies and a large as- sembly attended, to do justice to the tempting viands. An excellent pro- gramme was rendered in the church during the evening, and altogether an enjoyable time was spent.
