PAGE en The Post is in receipt of the fol- lowing- excellent suggestion from a former Lindsay boy. The holding of an Old Boys’ Reunion has been urged in. these columns On more than one occasion: Brooks, Alberta. Nov. 12, '15 To the Editor of The Post. Dear Sir, â€" Knowing that there are hundreds of Lmdoay old boys scattered over the face of the globe, who still cherish a. warm spot in their hearts for the' scenes of their childhood. boyhood, and girlhood, too, I would venture the suggestion that the town hold an Old Boys Reunion some time next spring or summer, and hand the town over to the old boys and old girls for a Week, budneas for a. while and to ‘ head LindsayWard. I! my memory sex-Veg me correctly, Lindsay never had a real good, big Old Boys Reunion. There have been single days set apart for tha old single days let apart for the old boys and girls from Toronto to visit the town. but there are a few of us out here in Albertaâ€"let those in the other provinses weak" for thmselves â€"â€"who would jump at the.chanca to travel a couple of thousand miles to experience an Old Boyn Reunion week in Lindsay. I! this meet. with favor hr the eyes of other old boys and girls they might possibly find sufficient time to write a line to your paper expressing their opinion. If replies were received indicating a. general feeling among those who once called Lindsay their home, in faVor of the idea, the Lind. say Progressivo Club might take the matter up. I am certain the tow would beneâ€" fit. But if a succesa is to be made of such a scheme it would mean a winter‘s worv for the committee in chuge. Thanking you, I remain, Sincerely youra. LEONARD D.
