- Full Text
A PLEASING event took place at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. McInnes, on Wednesday, Dec. 27th, in which their second daughter, Miss Catharine Elizabeth, of Sandringham, united in marriage to Mr. Neil McTaggart, son of Mr. Archibald McTaggart of Grass Hill. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Mculay of Woodville, in the unavoidable absence of Rev. Mr. McDonald. Mr. C. Fairman officiated as best man, while the bride was attended by her sisters Miss Rosie as bridesmaid and Miss Ethel as maid of honor. After the interesting ceremony was performed an elaborate repast was partaken of and the happy couple started on their honeymoon for Toronto and Niagara. The great array of presents, many of them were costly, testified in a manner to the popularity of the bride. The bride was given away by her father.
