- Full Text
WEDDING BELLS.-The pleasing event took place at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. Thomas Webser, in the marriage of his eldest daughter, Miss Emma C., to Mr. M. Andrew, of Port Sarnia. Above seventy invited guests witnessed the marriage ceremony, after which they partook of a sumptuous tea. The presents were numerous and costly, especially presents which were presented by the choir, of a magnificent family bible, and a beautiful plush album and bible, the gift of the Bible Class of which the bride was teacher. The members of Valentia church and surrounding neighbourhood join in wishing the newly married couple a long and happy journey through life, and may the evening of their day be illuminated by a glorious sunset. The happy couple left by the evening train for Toronto and different points in Western Ontario.
