QUITE an imposing affair took place at the residence of Mr. W. H. Graham, the bride's father, of this place. On Wednesday, the 15th of February, 1888, Miss Sarah Emma Graham was united in the bonds of matrimony to Mr. R.E. Stinson, of North Manvers. The Rev. A.C. Wilson, of Oakwood, officiated with great satisfaction. The Rev. Mr. Anderson was also present. Mr. S. Stinson, of Manvers, ably supported the groom, while Miss L. Davidson, of this place, supported the bride. The bride was attired in cream cashmere, trimmed with Spanish lace, pink ribbons and veils. The young couple, after refreshments had been served, took the evening train for Toronto, whither they were followed by good wishes. Graham, silver butter cooler; Mr. Howard Davidson, silver biscuit barrel; Mr. Jos. Eyres, large parlor lamp; Mr. and Mrs. Jordan, fancy slipper case; Mr. T. Graham and Miss S. Graham, silver dinner cruet; Miss Carrie Stinson, breakfast cruet; Mr. and Mrs. Bushell, silver pickle cruet; Mr. Willie and Miss T. Balfour, large preserve dish; Mr. and Mrs. Timms, large preserve dish; Miss Rachel Graham, milk-colored water pitcher; Mrs. Wilson Graham, water pitcher; Miss Minnie Eyer, large flowerd vase; Mr. W. Veale, syrup pitcher; Miss Maggie Jordan, one dozen table napkins; Miss Ida Stinson, glass cake stand; Mr. Herbert Stinson, one dozen preserve dishes; Miss Hannah Graham, blue vase; Miss Addie Stinson, pair of vases; Miss Rebecca Balfour, pair ornamented china vases; Mr. and Mrs. Northcott, preserve dish; Miss Ellie Davidson, golden napkin ring; Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Stinson, hanging lamp; Graham and Lee, Lindsay, handsome pitcher; Mr. W.A. Stinson, morrocco bound album, Mr. J.W. Irvine, china cup and saucer; Miss Jennie Stinson, a jewelry case and work-box; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Davidson, lemonade set.
