HOME AND OFF AGAIN.--Mr. James Dickson, P.L.S. and reeve of this village, who left here on the 21st of June, returned on Thursday of last week, and a meeting of the council, "under his auspices," was held on Monday evening. He has been engaged on a government survey of the township of Peck, in the Nipissing District, and as his work is not quite finished he left again on Wednesday morning, but will probably not be absent much over a fortnight.
