ACCIDENT.--Since Friday last Mr. D. G. Smith, of this village, has had his left hand wrapped up, in consequence of the second finger having been caught and broken by a brake chain while officiating as an amateur car-coupler at Little Ireland, where he had gone to look after some shingle bolts, a quantity of which were loaded on the cars.
