PERSONAL.--Two of our villagers, Mssrs. H. P. Heming and Johnston Brandon, left on Tuesday morning for Pittsburg, Penn., where the former has been offered lucrative employment in a wholesale hardware establishment, and his family will join him as soon as he has a home ready for them. Mr. Brandon, who has given up school-teaching as too unremunerative a profession, has for some time contemplated a trip to the States, and thought he would accompany Mr. Heming to Pittsburg and see whether he can there find better employment for his capital and ability than he can at home.
