WEDDING BELLS - From the Peterboro Review of June 16th we take the following:- "At 4.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon quite a gathering of the fair sex were assembled in the Charlotte-st. Methodist church to witness the tying of the nuptial knot which united in marriage Mr. Thos. Armstrong, of the of Fairweather & Co., Lindsay, and formerly of Peterborough, and Miss A. May Dawe. Rev. Geo. Edwards performed the ceremony. No invited guests were present, the wedding being a quiet one, and was intended to have been private, but their friends found an entrance to the church. The bride was charmingly attired in a heliotrope henrietta, trimmed with lighter shade of heliotrope silk, and wore a steel grey hat. The bridesmaid was Miss Lottie Green and she was attired in steel gray henrietta. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and the bridesmaid one of pink. The groom was supported by Mr. Geo. Matthis, of Lindsay. After the ceremony the happy couple drove to the Grand Trunk depot and took the train for Lindsay. The bride was the recipient of many handsome wedding gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong will receive the warmest wishes of many friends here for a happy and prosperous future." THE WARDER joins with their many friends in town in extending congratulations.
