The home of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Clifford, Dummer, Peterboro County, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday, Sept. 6thm at 6:30 p.m., when their daughter Margaret was married to Mr. Wm. Archer, of Fenelon Falls. To the trains of Lohegrin's wedding march, played by Miss Selkirk, the bride entered the room on the arm of her father, looking very dainty in a rich dress of cream silk, and carrying a sheaf of white asters. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Brown of Warsaw (of whose church the bride is a member) under an arch of green and white. The bridesmaid, Miss Sadie Clifford, sister of the bride, was attired in cream, and carried pink asters. The groomsman was Mr. Bert Naylor, Lindsay. After the ceremony about seventy-five sat down to a very sumptuous dinner. The evening was spent in dancing. The gifts were numerous and costly, testifying to the high esteem in which the bride is held by her host of friends. The honeymoon is being spent in Rochester. Among the guests from a distance were: Mrs. B. J. Burgess and Miss B. Archer, Fenelon Falls; Miss Viola McIntosh, Rosedale; Misses Swinton, Monaghan; Messrs. Clifford and Sharpe and Miss Clifford of Peterboro; Mr. and Miss Ingles, Walkerton; Mr. and Mrs. J. McIntosh; Mr. Jim and Miss Clara Kidd of Lakefield.

All good wishes go with the young couple for a long and happy life.
