Our regular publications reach almost 85,000 homes in Peterborough County, the City of Kawartha Lakes and Brock Township every week, more than any other media group in the region.
Known in the community as This Week and The Citizen, these local newspapers reflect the lives of our readers by covering what’s important to them: The people and events in their own communities.
We started with our Peterborough newspaper in August 1989 and added Lindsay This Week within a year. In 2001, the former Victoria County merged with all 16 townships inside its borders and the City of Kawartha Lakes was born, so we evolved with it, changing our Lindsay This Week and its sister papers -- the Bobcaygeon Independent and the Fenelon Falls Gazette -- to one title of Kawartha Lakes This Week in 2004. - Notes
