- Description
- Kawartha Lakes farmers, many full-time agriculture families, struggled to get first crops seeded and didn't know when the rest of their workers would arrive with government and border closures. Five local farms used temporary workers to assist on their farms during the busy seasons due to farmers not being able to find local workers to fill that role.
