- Ross Memorial Hospital tightened access to the hospital in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Effective March 17, 2020, the hospital implemented the following measures: Active screening of everyone entering the building, redirecting away anyone with a travel history or symptoms indicating possibly having the virus, limited open entrances to the hospital, limiting hospital visitors except in certain outlined circumstances, postponing elective surgeries/appointments/procedures, contacting patients with urgent and essential appointments for active screening with additional screening upon arrival, and suspending all volunteer services and student placements.
