Description
Dvine Laboratories, a manufacturer of vaping liquids, re-tooled 2 of their automated lines to help with the increased need for hand sanitizer.

As one of the recommended products for Canadians and global citizens to use regularly to protect themselves from COVID-19, hand sanitizer was often in short supply. Store prices for it skyrocketed, with some places selling it for $16.00 per counter-top pump bottle due to the high demand and lack of supply. Hand sanitizer was one of the cleaning and sanitizing products that were hoarded and resold by hustlers for high prices during the COVID-19 pandemic until companies such as Amazon, Kijiji, Ebay, and governments cracked down on the re-sale practice.

In Ontario, a report line was established for reporting any business price gouging for essential products such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer, Lysol wipes, and paper towels.
