Anne Overhoff, vice-president of patient care and chief nursing officer at Ross Memorial Hospital, explained the adjustments staff at the hospital have made, but are well-prepared thanks to previous health emergencies like SARS [Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome], MERS [Middle East Respiratory Syndrome], H1N1, and Avian Influenza.

At the start of each shift, staff had to pass through screening and had their temperature taken before heading to their units.
