- Description
- On March 20, the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO) reached a tentative deal with the province, ending the rotating one-day strikes which had been occurring since November 2019.
Major arguments in the deal were related to mandatory e-learning and larger class sizes. The province publicly backed down from class size increases, maintaining the current average of 23 children per class, scaled back e-learning and made it optional. - Publisher
