Covid-19 Update 21 - Community responds to call for emergency supplies - City of Kawartha Lakes Posted on Thursday, March 26, 2020 Kawartha Lakes - Kawartha Lakes Paramedics would like to thank all who have responded to the emergency procurement request on March 23 for personal protective equipment. The overwhelming response has resulted in a wave of supplies that are being used to protect Paramedics and reduce the spread of COVID-19. Many individuals have kindly come forward with donations of supplies. At risk of missing someone or exposing personal information, we are sending a collective "Thank you" to everyone who has stepped forward in the last few days. "We are overwhelmed by the response from the community to our request. Many, many thanks. As we continue to fight the spread of COVID-19, we ask that anyone with the supplies listed come forward," commented Chief Rafton, Kawartha Lakes Paramedics.
