Kawartha Lakes This Week asked the public to share acts of kindness and community supporting each other through COVID-19.

Chalk drawings by children were popular with messages of support for healthcare workers etched on McGibbon Boulevard and Deacon Crescent.

We'll start it off. Checkout below chalk drawings sent to us by Bob Bartlett of McGibbon Blvd. Bartlett says his neighbour's children showed their appreciation for local health care workers during a glimpse of sunshine. Bartlett's neighbour works at Ross Memorial.
