- Description
- The City announced that all park amenities would remain closed until further notice as the COVID-19 pandemic and state of emergency declarations continued into April. This included all playgrounds, sports fields and courts, skateparks, picnic areas, outdoor exercise equipment and washroom facilities.
Park spaces remained open for walking so long as the public practiced social distancing and remained 2 metres/6 feet apart from other non-household members.
Kawartha Conservation announced closures of all conservation areas within the conservation's watershed, which included Ken Reid Conservation Area, the off-lease dog park, Windy Ridge Conservation Area, Pigeon River Headwaters, Fleetwood Creek and Durham East Cross Forest. - Publisher
