- Description
- Supporters of the Bobcaygeon and Area COVID-19 Relief Fund asked those in need in the area to reach out to the fund for help.
More than $100,000 had been raised for the fund and it was available to individuals, families, and care facilities' staff for food, transportation, technology, mental wellness counselling and more.
Assistance had already been provided to Pinecrest Nursing Home staff, some Bobcaygeon area residents, the Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank, a local agency for hiring overnight crisis line staff for self-isolating in homes at-risk of violence, and the local Canadian Mental Health Association to provide counselling. - Publisher
