The most recent death was reported on May 7 by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health. Province-wide, there are 35,535 confirmed cases, an increase of 165 from yesterday's report. A total of 30,909 cases are resolved, an increase of 179 from yesterday. There have been 2,682 deaths, an increase of 2 from yesterday, with no increase in the number of deaths of residents in long-term care homes at 1,712. A total of 1,481,897 tests have been completed, an increase of 24,194 from yesterday, with 15,911 tests under investigation, an increase of 1,989.
