- The City announced that the Lindsay Recreation Complex pools would reopen on July 20, 2020 under strict COVID-19 safety measures.
Changerooms and showers were not accessible and swimmers were expected to arrive pre-showered and changed.
All swims were free of charge, but swimmers needed to pre-register ahead of time for the swim period. Swim blocks were limited to 45 minutes at a time and all swimmers needed to maintain physical distancing.
No water bottles, towels, goggles were allowed to be shared. No snorkels were allowed and patrons needed to bring their own training equipment if desired. No pool toys or equipment was publicly available.
