The pool at the Lindsay Recreation Complex reopened on July 20, 2020.
Splash pad regulations loosened as of August 4, 2020. Fencing for enforcing gathering restrictions was removed and the splash pads would not be shut down every few hours for extra cleaning.

Community centres with ice pads opened August 4, 2020.
The City's state of emergency was extended until July 24, 2020. This kept the Victoria Park Armoury closed for public use as it remained on standby to support the hospital until September 1, 2020.
