The market has announced it will open June 4 following strict Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge Health Unit safety protocols. The market is asking everyone to follow protocols and remember that the market will look a bit different: - If you are feeling ill, you should not visit the market. If you are healthy and plan to attend, please attend as the only member of your household. - Cloth masks are optional. These masks won't protect you from the virus byt may help prevent you from spreading it. - If possible, bring alcohol-based sanitizer to use after pickup at each vendor and avoid touching your face. Leave your reusable bags at home, they aren't permitted at this time. - Follow the directions of market organizers. Shoppers are asked to enter and exit the market from the east end of the parking lot only. Shopping will be one way. - Practice physical distancing by standing 2 metres from the other customers and vendors. Customers are asked not to touch any products, vendors will be happy to assist you. - There is no smoking at the market and pets should be kept at home. When you return home, wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. - Shoppers are reminded not to gather or loiter at the market. After making essential purchases, shoppers are asked to return home so that others may attend and to prevent large group gatherings from being formed. The market will be open June 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Wilson Fields Street, Joseph Street, behind Loblaws.
